Muthu Ramanathan is Hilmar’s corporate Technical Manager, where he is responsible for process/products of whey protein, lactose and lactoferrin. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Biosystems Engineering from South Dakota State University. With 10+ years of experience in Dairy Manufacturing, Muthu has focused his career in delivering products and innovation that exceed customer expectations, while maximizing yield and throughput of the plant. Muthu possess strong technical knowledge in membrane filtration for whey protein processing. His expertise includes applying technical knowledge in commercial manufacturing to successfully resolve complex plant issues, process optimization, commissioning new products and ability to bring cross functional team together to achieve the business goals.
