Industry 4.0 is gaining significant traction over the last few years. In this presentation, we are discussing what this means for Membrane Filtration Machines. How can data and Artificial Intelligence help improve productivity, validate CIP, increase membrane lifetime, and reduce electricity and water consumption? We share a case study with insights from both, operator, and manufacturer perspectives. Electricity consumption has been reduced by 20% and production time extended by over 30%. Furthermore, we discuss the challenges and hesitations of adopting Digital Solutions for Membrane Filtration Machines and ways to overcome them.
