Jayendra Amamcharla

Dr. Jayendra Amamcharla has undergraduate and graduate degrees in dairy technology and dairy engineering, respectively. He has completed his doctoral degree in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at North Dakota State University (NDSU), Fargo, ND. Subsequently, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Dairy Science Department at South Dakota State University (SDSU), Brookings, SD. Currently, he is with the Animal Sciences and Industry Department, Kansas State University as a Professor (Food Science). Last two years, he is also serving as the interim director of Midwest Dairy Foods Research Center. As a next step in his career, he accepted a faculty position focusing on Dairy Fractionation and Separation Science in the Food Science and Nutrition Department at University of Minnesota. He will be starting his new position at University of Minnesota in the first week of July.
