Business Manager, Global Sales and Strategic Marketing, Membrane Technology,Alfa Laval Nakskov A/S

After joining Danish Separation Systems, Denmark (now part of Alfa Laval) in 2001, Gary Lloyd has worked with membrane technology for more than 20 years and gained experience in applying membranes to a wide range of applications from product processing to water recovery. Graduating in 1983 from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK with an Honours degree in Chemical Engineering he also gained experience in evaporation and drying technology whilst working in the UK for APV Anhydro A/S. Working in sales, marketing and business development for more than 25 years, he has been managing the sales and support of complete life cycle projects for the supply of process equipment to companies in the Food, Pharmaceutical, and Chemical industries around the world. At the end of 2013, he relocated from Alfa Laval’s Membrane Business Centre in Denmark on assignment to the main USA sales office in Richmond Virginia. During this period, Gary had continued responsibility for developing capital system and component sales via OEM’s in North America. After a 6 year assignment in the USA, Gary returned to Alf Laval Nakskov, Denmark in 2019 to continue his work in the membrane world as Business Manager, Global Sales and Strategic Marketing.
