Award presentation took place during last month’s IDFA Dairy Forum in Orlando. Tillamook was honored for its rich history, 50% retail sales growth and sustainability plan. Kudos to CEO Patrick Criteser and his amazing team!

The award, now in its seventh year, honors an individual, group or organization for demonstrating outstanding leadership directed at enhancing food safety within the dairy products industry. 

Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) received the International Dairy Foods Association’s (IDFA) 2021 Food Safety Leadership Award during IDFA’s Dairy Forum on Jan. 26.

Charlie Cook, editor and publisher of the Cook Political Report and a featured speaker at Dairy Forum 2018, spoke with Michael Dykes, D.V.M., president and CEO of IDFA, about the factors that will most likely affect the midterm elections. The International Dairy Foods Association will broadcast live several key sessions from its annual Dairy Forum. Dairy Foods is providing the live-streaming sessions on Jan. 26 and 27 from Boca Raton, Fla.

The NCI Laureate Award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the development and growth of the cheese industry. A panel of industry professionals chooses a winner each year based on the person's long-term contributions to the industry.
