The funds generated from the FPSA auction support a variety of worthy charitable causes, including scholarships, veterans’ groups, university research and training, and employment of the underserved.
The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA), McLean, Va., said it will host the 2021 FPSA auction virtually with guest auctioneer James Cunningham as a result of the cancellation of its 2021 annual conference. While the live portion of the auction will take place on May 20 at 8:00 p.m. EDT, a silent auction will run from May 10 through May 21. The live auction will take place on MS Teams and all bidding will be through the auction website. In addition, the auction will be preceded by an optional wine tasting, also held virtually at 6:45 p.m. EDT.
