Rumiano Cheese Co. adds three cheeses to its Redwood Coast line
One dollar from every sale of Redwood Coast cheese through the end of May will be donated to charitable organizations that help support front-line health care workers.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Rumiano Cheese Co., Willows, Calif., said it launched three new Redwood Coast cheeses to help support front-line health care workers in California. From April 27 through the month of May, $1 from the sale of every package of Redwood Coast globally inspired cheese will benefit the University of California San Francisco COVID-19 Response Fund and various other nonprofit organizations across California.
Rumiano said the three new flavors in the Redwood Coast line include Wild Arabian Nights (Monterey Jack with za’atar seasoning), Borderline Blaze (smoked jalapeño cheddar) and Tuscan Temptress (mozzarella with basil and sun-dried tomato). These new cheeses join an already established collection featuring Sriracha Jack, Seoul Spice and Island Fire Dance. Launched in 2019, the evolving line is available in 8-ounce blocks at natural food stores and major grocery chains.
