It is made with a blend of coconut, macadamia and pea protein.
Siggi’s, a New York-based maker of lower sugar yogurt with simple ingredients, said it launched its first-ever plant-based yogurt alternative. The product contains three times more protein and 40% less sugar than leading yogurt alternatives; it is available at grocery and retail stores beginning this month.
“We are really excited to enter the plant-based segment and offer a truly unique product that delivers on what consumers have asked for,” said Carlos Altschul, Siggi’s president and CEO. “Siggi’s fans all over the country will recognize our classic creamy texture, not-too-sweet taste, lower sugar and higher protein content. We are proud to continue to enhance the yogurt aisle through innovation.”
