Ethical eating, experimentation among top trends in dairy
A new report from Zenith Global says new dairy products are catering to these and/or eight other key trends.
“Dairy Innovation Report 2019,” a new publication from Zenith Global, a food and drink consulting firm based in Bath, England, identifies 10 key themes guiding new product development worldwide. The 10 trends are health and wellbeing, convenience, ethical eating, on-the-go consumption, experimentation, snacking, premiumization, indulgence, provenance and sustainability.
“These 10 themes are the main characteristics driving most product development and innovation around the world,” said Zenith Global Chairman Richard Hall. “From camel milk to vegan ice cream, our analysts have assessed new products launched over the last three years and have found that nearly all manufacturers are extending their ranges to cater for these 10 trends.”
