Clover Sonoma, Petaluma, Calif., introduced a Non-GMO Project Verified lactose-free milk line, a first of its kind, the company said. The line is available in whole-milk, 2% reduced-fat, 1% low-fat, fat-free and chocolate whole-milk varieties. The milk is sold at Raley’s and local independent California grocers such as Nugget Markets. It retails for $4.99 per half-gallon. The 2% milk contains 130 calories, 5 grams of fat, 12 grams of sugar and 9 grams of protein per 1-cup serving.
