Flavorchem Corp. acquired a flavor production facility in Kerepes, Hungary. Operating under the name of Flavorchem Europe Kft, the Hungarian facility will be a fully owned subsidiary of Flavorchem Corp. based in the United States.
GE announced that the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA) have certified GE’s dairy membrane products as halal, according the IFANCA standards and qualifications. The 18 membrane products certified are produced at GE’s Membrane Center of Excellence in Minnetonka, Minn., and at GE’s membrane rolling manufacturing facility in Oroszlany, Hungary.
