Stonyfield's Oikos brand to become Stonyfield Greek next month
It's a move to remove any confusion by loyal Stonyfield customers, a spokesman says.
Stonyfield Farm is dropping the Oikos brand name from its Greek yogurt products. Stonyfield Greek will be on store shelves by the end of February, a spokeswoman told Dairy Foods. A Catalina coupon issued last week by a Jewel-Osco (Supervalu) store near Chicago and obtained by Dairy Foods states "a new name for the taste you love."
Along with changing the name, Stonyfield has updated the cup design to more prominently feature the fruit ingredients, according to a company statement.
