Dean Foods' net income rose 37% for the fourth quarter of 2003 thanks to acquisitions, higher selling prices and a strong performance by subsidiary White Wave.
The Dallas-based processor said net income for the quarter totaled $86.5 million, compared with $63.1 million in fourth quarter 2002.
