LOUISVILLE, Colo.-Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery teamed up with the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board last month for a Bavarian-style promotion

in which it paired its beer with

Wisconsin cheeses. The three-week-long Rocktoberfest celebration also included the tapping of the brewery's latest beer, Rocktoberfest Bier.

The 88-unit chain featured a cheese-and-beer sampler, pairing three cheeses with three of the restaurant's beers and also included German salami and smoked Thuringer sausage. The chain's newest brew was paired with an aged extra-sharp Cheddar, while the amber and red ale were matched with Gruyere fondue dipping sauce.
