Founded in 1922 and still family-owned, Shamrock Foods Co., Phoenix, promotes chocolate milk as being nature’s sports drink.

Founded in 1922 and still family-owned, Shamrock Foods Co., Phoenix, promotes chocolate milk as being nature’s sports drink. Research suggests that chocolate milk refuels muscles, reduces muscle breakdown, and replenishes and rehydrates the body. And now, Shamrock Farms has used this science to develop the optimal sports recovery beverage: Rockin’ Refuel. This is the only chocolate milk specially formulated to help tired and depleted muscles recover and rebuild themselves for a stronger body. Rockin’ Refuel is low-fat chocolate milk containing 20g of protein. It also contains naturally occurring electrolytes and is an excellent source of calcium. This kosher-certified product is ultra-pasteurized for extended shelflife and is made with milk from cows not treated with the growth hormone rBST. Rockin’ Refuel comes in 12-fl-oz resealable bottles.
