Asahi/America’s PPSU Sanitary Sight Tube is manufactured specifically for demanding Food & Beverage and Bio-Pharm manufacturing applications in which visual inspection of process media is required.
Asahi/America’s PPSU Sanitary Sight Tube is manufactured specifically for demanding Food & Beverage and Bio-Pharm manufacturing applications in which visual inspection of process media is required. The Sanitary Sight Tube provides excellent means of confirming flow conditions, proper media agitation and system cleaning parameters. It is constructed of Radel R® PPSU resin, which meets FDA, 3A, USP Class VI and NSF 51 & 61 standards. Standard IDF/ISO sanitary ferrules are molded onto the ends of the single body design.
The PPSU Sanitary Sight Tube is molded with advanced polymers into a single body part. This provides a light weight product and eliminates undesirable mechanical connections for the viewing area. The Sight Tube allows for 360 degree viewing and is steam in place compatible. The PPSU body design provides an excellent solution to the limitations of traditional sight glass products.
The PPSU Sanitary Sight Tube is available in sizes 1” through 2-1/2”. Standard nominal length is 10”, and custom lengths are made to order. Asahi/America’s engineering department is always available to help you discover how our PPSU components can enhance your operation.
