Mettler-Toledo Safeline introduces the Gravity FlowSD metal detector, designed to detect ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel contaminants in high-volume, free-flowing powders and granular products. Available as a free-standing unit with a reduced footprint or as a suspended unit, it offers 4-, 6- and 8-inch infeed and discharge pipes and high-speed reject-valves to divert contaminated products. Utilizing quick-release clamps, the reject diverter can be quickly dismantled without tools and swung open to allow thorough cleaning of both the throughput pipe and the reject mechanism, saving valuable time. Furthermore, an intuitive user interface offers rapid operator training and ease of use for maximum uptime.
