Gold Coast Ingredients Receives IFS Certification

Gold Coast Ingredients Inc. is proud to announce that it has received certification against International Food Standard (IFS), Version 5. The audit was conducted by the auditing firm DNV Business Assurance (DNV) over a three day period. The IFS standard is benchmarked against the criteria of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). GFSI is managed by the Consumer Goods Forum and was established in 2000 to pursue continuous improvement in food safety management systems, cost efficiency in the supply chain and, above all, safe food for consumers worldwide.
The IFS standard is compliant with the latest internationally approved standards for food safety and regulatory requirements. Certification provides evidence of the commitment of Gold Coast Ingredients to build and operate a management system capable of meeting these requirements.
Gold Coast Ingredients is a privately held food flavor and ingredient manufacturer based in Los Angeles with manufacturing facilities in Los Angeles and Shenzhen China, as well as an additional sales office in Amsterdam. DNV Business Assurance is fully owned by Det Norske Veritas, an independent foundation established in 1864.
