Lotte Pumpkin Milk
Pumpkin is the latest flavor variety added to Lotte’s chilled milk offerings. The 900-milliliter paper cartons carry a suggested retail price of 1,780 KRW (about $1.90).
The Nadec brand has repackaged its line of flavored milk with a new layout and graphics. The shelf-stable product comes in strawberry, vanilla and chocolate flavors. Sold in 200-milliliter paperboard cartons, the beverage retails for 1.00 SAR (about 27 cents).
Emmi’s Benecol Iogurte Liquido Magro contains plant stanols, which are clinically shown to reduce cholesterol levels in the bloodstream. This product also purports to block excessive absorption of cholesterol. Emmi Benecol comes in six packs of 65-milliliter plastic bottles at a retail price of 3.59 euros (about $4.90). A portion of the purchase price is donated to Portugal’s cardiology institute.
From Mexico’s largest dairy processor comes Lala Vive, a reduced-fat yogurt beverage with added fiber as well as the probiotic organism bifidus Vitelle. Vive comes in prune, papaya orange and strawberry flavors. Each 250-milliliter plastic bottle sells for 5.60 MXN (about 50 cents).
A strawberry flavor has joined the Vinamilk Susu line of chilled drinkable yogurt. The 110-milliliter plastic bottles carry shrink-sleeve labels and come six to a pack. Orange and mixed-fruit varieties also are available. Suggested retail price is 15,000 VND (about 93 cents).
Frisian Flag has repackaged its chocolate-flavor Growing Up Milk for children ages 4 to 6. The Halal-certified, shelf-stable beverage contains tyrosine, tryptophan, spingomeylin, DNA, inulin and other nutrients. Each 300-gram bottle retails for 17,950 IDR (about $2).
This chocolate-flavored milkshake comes from Pilos in a paperboard carton with a plastic closure. The 1-liter chilled product carries a suggested retail price of 17.90 CZK (about 86 cents).
