Specialty-chemicals supplier Cognis is setting up new application centers for food ingredients in different regions. In June it opened a location in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Next year, Cognis will open a center in Jacarei, Brazil, by the end of the first quarter. It has plans for China and the United States. The company serves the food, nutrition and healthcare markets.
