Sargento Foods, Plymouth, Wis., introduced two additional Balanced Breaks (its line of cheese and nut snack packs) varieties, featuring unique ingredients, like juice-infused dried fruit.

Balanced Breaks feature natural cheese, roasted nuts and sweet dried fruits, and have been popular and successful for the company since the April 2015 release, see more on that here. Like the original lineup, the new varieties contain 7-8 grams of protein and fewer than 200 calories.

The two new varieties are:

  • Colby-Jack Natural Cheese with Sea-Salted Peanuts and Blueberry Juice-Infused Dried Cranberries. The tang of the cranberries is offset by a sweet blueberry infusion, which is paired with Colby-Jack cheese and salty roasted peanuts.
  • Gouda Natural Cheese with Honey-Roasted Peanuts and Dried Cranberries, which combines Gouda with sweet, crunchy honey-roasted peanuts and tart dried cranberries.

Balanced Breaks come in a package of three 1.5-ounce snacks for a suggested retail price of $3.69. The Colby-Jack variety contains 180 calories, 12 grams of fat, 8 grams of sugar and 8 grams of protein per pack. The snacks are available in stores nationwide.
