Coperion K-Tron redesigned its D5 scale for its high-accuracy loss-in-weight feeders. The new design encompasses a variety of improvements, including a focus on hygienic applications and ATEX 3D rating already in the basic version, making it work for any type of environment. The redesign has also further improved the accuracy and reliability of the D5 scale. Grooves and crevices have been eliminated and gaskets and membranes have been modified to prevent deposit of dust and product residue, and to enable easy cleaning. The new fasteners in hygienic design allow quick and easy dismantling of the base plate.
