Chicago-based fairlife LLC launched a new flavored milk brand called YUP! The ultra-filtered milk comes in three flavors: chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. It's being marketed to "tweens" and young adults.

The milk is sold in plastic 14-ounce bottles for a suggested retail price of $1.99. Each serving (1 cup) contains 130 calories, 2.5 grams of fat, 18 grams of sugar and 9 grams of protein. According to the company, the milk is 25% lower in sugar than your average low-fat milk.

The milk is currently available in the Carolinas, Tennessee, Kentucky and other select markets throughout the Southeastern United States. It’s also distributed in Northern New England. The company plans to roll the milk product out nationally by the end of 2016. According to the company, distribution will be weighted toward Convenience Retail as well as other Food Service or On-Premise channels.

YUP! is produced out of fairlife's plant in Coopersville, Mich.
