Ingredion launched Ingredion Idea Labs innovation centers in the United States. The labs innovation centers are designed to foster science-based collaboration and problem solving for food, beverage and industrial customers in four key areas: consumer insights, applied research, applications knowhow and process technology. Three U.S. facilities and 21 others are planned worldwide by the end of 2014.

Double H Plastics achieved an SQF Level 3 Certification for all packaging facilities by the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Institute for the second consecutive year. This certification is in recognition of its food safety and quality assurance practices.
