RockView Farms Organic MilkDowney, Calif.-based Rockview Farms is rebranding its organic milk to Rockview Farms organic milk. The rebrand includes an all-new label, but the strict process involved to produce the milk remains the same. The new label makes its way to shelves at select Southern California supermarkets this month.

The company’s organic products are made from cows raised on an organic diet and never treated with hormones or antibiotics. Rockview doesn’t use ultra-high temperature pasteurization to extend shelf life, preferring instead to minimally process its milk at a lower temperature. It is also homogenized at a lower pressure which results in a creamier texture.

“The Good Heart label was introduced thirteen years ago to differentiate our organic milk from conventional Rockview Farms Milk,” said Ted DeGroot, COO, Rockview Farms. “With greater consumer and industry awareness about our brand and the lengths we go to produce the highest quality dairy products, it makes sense for us to switch to the Rockview Farms Organic Milk name, which Southern California residents know and look for.”

Rockview Farms milk is certified by USDA and Quality Assurance International and is available in whole, reduced-fat, low-fat and fat-free varieties. Rockview Farms dairy products are distributed to schools, coffee houses, restaurants, independent markets and select retailers across Southern California including Gelson’s Supermarkets. Its product line includes milk, organic milk, butter, buttermilk, cottage cheese, cream, half & half, sour cream, juice and yogurt.
