Kenny Loggins performs a concert on opening night, Monday, Sept. 23, starting at 4 p.m. in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Tickets are $25 and include beer, wine and light hors d’oeuvres. All proceeds benefit K9s for Warriors.

26,000 attendees from around the globe, the show features state-of-the-art materials, machinery and methods for packaging and processing in the dairy market and other industries.

To get more of a focus in specific markets, the expo once again features designated pavilion areas where buyers can find solutions aimed directly at their industry. New this year is the Center for Trends & Technology. The other pavilions are: the Brand Zone, the Confectionery Pavilion, the Processing Zone and the Reusable Packaging Pavilion.

The show also features The Food Safety Summit Resource Center (sponsored by BNP Media, publisher of Dairy Foods). The resource center is located in the Upper South Hall and offers attendees free information and consultations with leading experts in the field to assess new strategies for food safety compliance.

Attendees can network with peers and partners at industry-specific lounge areas on the show floor for baking and snack, beverage, confectionery and pharmaceutical. At the Innovation Stage, leading companies are scheduled to present free half-hour seminars on their latest technologies.
