Dean Foods launches a $25,000 Dream Kitchen promotion
Dean's (a unit of Dean Foods) prints a recipe for "Terrifically Quick Trifle" that calls for two cups of milk and one cup of heavy whipping cream. The FSI states "the perfect recipe starts with the purest ingredients." Dean also launches a "dream kitchen" promotion that awards one winner $25,000 (in the form of a check) for a kitchen makeover. Entry is online (pureandsimplestart.com) with a code delivered on-pack. The FSI also contains the pledge not to use milk treated with artificial growth hormones.
Kraft promotes string cheese flavors, Cracker Barrel
Kraft Foods takes two FSIs this week. "Goodness you love, flavors you crave" pictures Tomato Basil and Cracked Black Pepper string cheeses (both new flavors) and Jalapeno. Nutrition information (7 grams of protein, 80 calories or less) is shown, along with a web address (kraftstringcheese.com).
The Cracker Barrel Cheddar cheese FSI touts the World Championship Cheese Award received in 2012. Block cracker cut and snacking bar packages are shown.
