Bardot ice cream novelties include Thai mint ice cream covered in 60% dark Belgian chocolate and wild blackberry ice cream.

The design firm Landor Associates San Francisco won a platinum award in the 2012 Pentawards competition for the work it did for its client, Advanced Ice Cream Technologies (also known as Bardot). Landor created the name, packaging, communication material and the design of the premium-priced ice cream bars themselves. (Landor also won an award for this product in the 2012 Clio competition.)

The ice cream bars are packaged in specific wrappings which preserve them for up to eight hours. Each flavor has suggestive names, such as “Forbidden Fruit” and “French Kiss.” The bars are sold at Bardot stores in southern California. The 7th edition of Pentawards received more than 1,200 entries from 46 countries on five continents.
