Friendly’s Ice Cream, said Anthony M. Lavely joined the company as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. He will be responsible for company-wide marketing, including advertising, media, field marketing, digital, public relations, and product development.

Tammy Anderson-Wiseis the new chief executive officer of Dairy Council of California. A 15-year veteran of the organization, she is the former director of program services and managed its school programs. Anderson-Wise succeeds Peggy Biltz who retired.

The Cheese Importers Association of America, Washington,  D.C., elected new officers and directors.  For 2012-2013 , the officers are: Thomas Gellert, Atalanta Corp., president; Dominique Delugeau, DCI Cheese Co., first vice-president; Linda Karaffa, Norseland Cheese, second vice-president; Ken Olsson, A.V. Olsson Trading Co., treasurer; andPhilip Marfuggi, The Ambriola Co., secretary.
