New processing equipment from Krohne

Three new food processing products from Krohne include the Viscoline Inline Process Rheometer, the Optiflux 6300 Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO) meter, and the Optiquad spectroscopic analysis system.

The Viscoline Inline Process Rheometer provides in-line, continuous measurement of fluid viscosity for process control and monitoring applications. Applications include emulsions, yogurt and cheese.

The Optiflux 6300 Grade A PMO meter improves output and increases efficiency by shortening the holding time for milk in the pasteurization loop, thereby increasing the pasteurization loop’s output and efficiency. The meter is approved under 3-A Sanitary Standards (3-A SSI) and is compliant with clean-in-place (CIP) requirements.

The Optiquad is a spectroscopic analysis system for inline measurement of ingredients for dairy applications. The two versions currently available can be used for the inline measurement of protein, fat and lactose in milk products.
