Bepex’s Rietz RH Dispersitron circulates and disperses mixtures, eliminates lumps and creates a suspension or emulsion simultaneously. The unit can be operated on either a continuous basis or in a batch process. During a continuous process, a liquid or easy-to-wet powder is metered to a feed tank with an optional agitator. The feed tank is connected to the RH, which disperses the ingredients and pumps them to a final product tank. The company also offers a batch system with recirculation if more intense mixing is required. The turbulence created by the rotating hammers as materials enter the unit homogenizes the mixture, and the impact and grinding within reduces particle size and effectively delumps and disperses solutions.
