Christian Ragot named CEO of Exopack

Ragot ExopackSpartanburg, SC – February 3, 2012: Exopack® announced today that it has appointed Christian Ragot as Chief Executive Officer of the company. Ragot, most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Novariant, Inc., a technology-based company providing solutions in GPS and other positioning control systems and on February 13, 2012, will assume the Exopack CEO role held temporarily by Tom Vale. Mr. Vale will continue to fulfill his responsibilities as President, Chief Operating Officer and Secretary of the Company.

“We considered many extraordinary candidates during the search for our new CEO, “said Jack Knott, the company’s Chairman and former CEO. “Chris brings more than 25 years of operational experience, many of them in senior management positions and has earned a reputation as a trusted and respected leader. His diverse background in technology and industrial manufacturing will help Exopack drive its strategic initiatives.”

Mr. Ragot will be relocating to Exopack’s executive offices in Chicago.
