Kendall Packaging, Mequon, Wis., provides packaging companies with custom structures in a variety of market areas, including cheese. Whether it is rollstock, pre-made bags, stand-up pouches, shaped pouches, striped metallized film or high performance barrier film, Kendall Packaging is the preferred source for flexible packaging solutions. It has production facilities in Jefferson, Wis., and Pittsburg, Kan.

In December, the company announced it achieved a 2011 GMP Inspection rating of Superior at both manufacturing facilities. Kendall Packaging has received this Recognition of High Achievement - Superior award in the past, but with AIB International’s recent revisions to their Consolidated Standards for Inspection, this year’s audit was the most rigorous to date. Since starting the inspections, Kendall has received nothing less than Excellent ratings and they have received the Superior rating seven times between the two production facilities. With the elimination of the Excellent rating, and strict revisions, AIB International has made the Superior rating that much tougher to achieve.
