The new AEGIS Shaft Voltage test kit from Electro Static Technologyand Fluke Corp., Everett, Wash., makes it easier to measure and document damaging VFD-induced voltages. The kit includes a replaceable probe tip that contains high-density conductive microfibers for highly accurate voltage readings on rotating equipment. The tip and extension rod may be held or used with an optional magnetic base.
