The Wisconsin Dairy Products Assn.’s 2010 Dairy Symposium will be held July 11-12 at The Landmark Resort, Door County, Wis. The Dairy Symposium is a complete and comprehensive program focusing on issues impacting all dairy processors and focuses on value-involving program speakers, entertaining social events, a golf outing and the opportunity to network with leading dairy executives in an upscale, resort setting.

This year’s Dairy Symposium includes stellar, cutting-edge seminars for all dairy interests, representatives from leading dairy companies providing opportunities to network and interact with business peers, a spectacular Sunday night reception and banquet and a golf outing at one of Door County’s premiere golf courses. 

The Dairy Symposium kicks off with a golf outing at The Orchards Golf Club at Egg Harbor. It will use a scramble format to allow golfers of all abilities to have an enjoyable day. Tee times will begin at 10:00 a.m. and lunch, drinks and prizes are included in the golf fee.

That evening, there will be a gala reception, followed by the Presidents Award dinner banquet.

The next day begins with a breakfast and the WDPA annual meeting, followed by the main educational program.

Sexed Semen Panel Discussion
Sexed semen is revolutionizing the dairy industry. Panelists will focus on how sexed semen is affecting the U.S. dairy industry, how sexed semen works and what the future trends are. They will also discuss the movement of milk in this country and how sexed semen will affect milk supplies and price volatility.

A stellar panel of dairy executives has been brought together to discuss today’s dairy markets.
