"Atlanta is an exciting and dynamic city that offers a state-of-the-art convention center. As one of the most accessible destinations in the country, 80% of our Dairy Show participants are within a two-hour flight of the city," said Connie Tipton, president and CEO of IDFA, Washington, D.C. Accessibility and affordability for exhibitors and attendees were the two driving factors that influenced IDFA's decision to select Atlanta for 2011. The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA), Washington, D.C., represents the nation's dairy manufacturing and marketing industries and their suppliers with a membership of 550 companies representing a $110-billion-a-year industry.
