Pall Corp. will showcase a varied portfolio of new filtration and separation solutions at the Drinktec World Fair in Munich, Germany, Sept. 14-19. The products and systems further enhance Pall’s extensive capabilities to support food and beverage producers and help them achieve sustainable, profitable success. New product developments include:       

-     A new continuous beer stabilization system that enables a continuous filtration and stabilization process downstream of maturation tanks.

-    Pall Aria FB membrane water treatment systems, designed specifically to provide high quality water with exceptional microbial control to the food and beverage industry.

-    Membralox IC ceramic membranes featuring a unique diamond-shape multi-channel design with 45% more filtration capacity per module.  The membranes provide exceptional filtrate quality in fermentation broth and ingredients clarification and other cross flow applications.

-    The Fuente family, a new generation of filter cartridges specifically designed and qualified to meet the bottled water industry’s new requirements.

-    SupraPak depth filter modules, featuring an innovative “edge flow” technology and 2½ times higher dirt capacity than sheets with a comparable surface area, in a compact footprint.

-    The Oenoflow XL-E fully automated membrane system for cross flow filtration of wine for small to mid-sized wineries, offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional pre-coat technology.

-    A new chromatography system utilizing Upfront’s Rhobust technology as the preferred and most cost-effective option for the isolation and purification of functional food grade proteins.

-    The Pall GeneDisc Technology, the latest real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technology that enables rapid detection of food born pathogens and identification of food-spoiling microorganisms for accurate food safety and increased food quality.

In addition, Pall has qualified a wide portfolio of products to comply with the EU Framework Regulation on Food Contact Materials - European Regulation Number (EC) 1935/2004. Furthermore, Pall is pretesting “green” concepts and packages targeting reductions in water and CO2 footprint, offering significant cost saving programs for the food and beverage producers.  For the soft drink industry, Pall focuses on filtration solutions for exotic fruit juices and functional drinks.
