Lipid Nutrition to present CLA-weight management research

Lipid Nutrition will participate in a special panel at this year’s Nutracon, “Weight Loss Ingredients – Slim Slam: Make Your Case.” The session is designed to showcase products and ingredients that are researched and that have demonstrated safety and efficacy in weight loss and weight management.

Recently, there has been criticism in the United States national media about unsafe or ineffective weight-loss ingredients. The organizers at Nutracon see a need for the industry to present that there are weight loss/management products and ingredients that are well researched and provide the weight loss/management benefits for which consumers are looking.

Nutracon is the premier event for ingredient and technology innovation in the health and nutrition industry. The conference goal is to help companies develop new science-supported products in the supplements, functional foods and beverages, and nutricosmetics sectors.

Nutracon’s “Weight Loss Ingredients – Slim Slam: Make Your Case” panel will assemble at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, in the Capistrano Room at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel. Lipid Nutrition’s presentation on CLA and its clinical science around weight management benefits will begin at 4 p.m. and include a question-and-answer period with the audience. President's Address --2020 Vision

They say hindsight is 20/20, but IDFA President and CEO Connie Tipton is turning that old adage on its head. She plans to look forward to the next five years with a focused vision on important changes ahead for the dairy industry. In her address Tipton will challenge industry leaders to be willing to shake things up. She will unveil plans to ramp up IDFA activities during the run up to 2020.
