Westby Cooperative Creamery, Westby, Wis.-Peter Kondrup hired as general manager. Most recently, Kondrup was vice president of manufacturing for a New Jersey cheese factory. There he oversaw day-to-day operations in manufacturing and distribution of specialty cheese and yogurts, and managed more than 100 employees. He also has served as head cheesemaker in his family's former cheese business in Illinois, and held subsequent plant and production management roles for Associated Milk Producers in Texas, and Tropical Cheese Industries, New Jersey. He is a licensed Wisconsin cheesemaker.

3-A Sanitary Standards Inc., McLean, Va.-Four industry professionals, including the first European-based representative, attained accreditation as a Certified Conformance Evaluator (CCE). The credential is required for those wishing to perform independent inspections of equipment for 3-A Symbol holders as part of a new Third Party Verification (TPV) program. The TPV program was implemented last fall to provide independent verification that equipment displaying the 3-A Symbol is manufactured in conformance to 3-A Standards. The four new CCEs include Rocklyn Bates, USDA/AMS Dairy Programs, Paul Bokelmann, industry consultant, Bernard Thompson, Seiberling Associates, Inc. and Andrew Timperley, CCFRA Technology Ltd. in Gloucestershire, United Kingdom. The latest CCEs join a select group of 26 other professionals who earned the certification last summer.

Dodson
Chr. Hansen Inc. Milwaukee, Wis.-James Dodson appointed v.p. of sales for animal health and Nutrition. Dodson will be responsible for directing the overall development of the sales activities of the company's Animal Health and Nutrition business in the USA. He comes to Chr. Hansen with a strong background in sales management, most recently heading up the sales and marketing activities at Foremost Farms USA in their Ingredients Division. He also brings many years of experience in the field of animal health and nutrition. Also, John Lyne joins Chr. Hansen as director of technical development for the company's dairy business. Lyne will provide technical support to the dairy sales team in both cheese and fermented milk ingredients. He has more than 17 years of dairy experience in project management, product development and plant management. He comes to Chr. Hansen from DSM where he was technical director and site manager.

Adams
Hi-Speed Checkweigher Co.-Jeff Adams joins as general mgr. Adams is responsible for providing the strategic and operational leadership for the company's business, which is focused primarily in North America and Latin America. Adams has more than 20 years experience within the Mettler Toledo Group. He has held various leadership roles with responsibility for the engineering, manufacturing and marketing of industrial products. Since 1998 he has been General Manager of Mettler Toledo's Spartanburg, S.C. business unit, serving many of the company's key industrial and retail customers.

Koelnmesse Inc., Chicago-Mette Petersen has been named president and managing director. Koelnmesse, Chicago is a subsidiary of Koelnmesse GmbH, one of the world's largest international trade show organizers in Cologne, Germany. In this position, Peterson oversees Koelnmesse GmbH's expansion into North America. Petersen is responsible for helping NAFTA based companies grow their business in global markets by exhibiting or visiting the more than 40 industry trade shows organized by Koelnmesse.
