Many of the top competitors in July’s American Cheese Society competiton are in Bra, Italy this month for the Slow Food International Cheese Fair.

The Best of Show in the ACS competition went to Pleasant Ridge Reserve, a Farmstead cheese made only in summer by Uplands Cheese Inc., Dodgeville, Wis., Michael Gingrich, cheesemaker.
