A new fruit and milk drink for busy adults who might otherwise skip breakfast is the latest idea from Bravo! Foods International. It’s not a yogurt smoothie, but Breakfast Blenders™ is a lactose-free flavored milk with added protein and fruit-based fiber and nutrients.

The Florida-based company is prepping a November roll-out of Breakfast Blenders in 7-Eleven stores.

“Our customer trends showed that the typical consumer is skipping breakfast due to their hurried schedules, while health research shows that breakfast is a very important meal,” said Kurt Schumacher, category mgr. of dairy and ice cream products for 7-Eleven.

Bravo! Foods already markets an existing line of fortified milk drinks under the ‘Slammers’ brand. Earlier this month, Bravo! signed a 10-year distribution agreement with Coca-Cola Enterprises, adding fuel to rumors that CCE is preparing a bid to acquire a controlling interest in the Florida-based group.
