Heideblume Molkerei in Germany introduces Elsdorfer Lipowell Drink mit CLA, which is a yogurt drink containing conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). CLA’s claim to fame is that it converts body fat to lean muscle mass, especially if combined with a healthy diet and active lifestyle. CLA is naturally present in cows milk; however, this drink boosts that natural level with a CLA ingredient derived from safflower oil.

In Austria, Pikano released its Milfina Lactiv Dörrpflaume Prune Yogurt with two powerful ingredients, Bifidus bacterium BB12 and dried plums. The BB12 has been shown to be resistant to stomach acid and therefore reaches the intestines in a live state, where it influences the metabolism positively. Dried plums are packed with important vitamins and minerals including magnesium, vitamin A, potassium and iron, as well as fiber.

Marks & Spencer is rolling out Extra Thick Channel Island Brandy Cream made with Courvoisier VS brand cognac into all of its U.K. stores. This dairy dessert features a silky golden color and is made using only Channel Island milk produced in the West Country from Jersey and Guernsey cows. The company says that the combination of cognac and cream has a delicate taste and aroma that makes an ideal complement for puddings and other desserts.
