Bayerische Milchindustri, a German dairy farm, has installed a new Multipack 800 from Oystar to pack butter for the Paladin brand.

The new wrapping machine packs the butter products in three different sizes at a rate of 250 packs per minute ranging from 100 to 500 grams. According to Oystar, the Multipack 800 is the highest output machine available for wrapping pasty products like butter, margarine and lard.

At its Zapfendorf plant, Bayerische Milchindustrie uses the machine to pack butter in pack sizes of 200, 250 and 400 grams in aluminum-clad paper. Plant manager Friedrich Fischer says the new addition has helped to significantly increase production capacity at the processing facility.
